Default FS: 96 DC2-R with a BIG maybe??

Well, to make a long story short, i put my itr for sale back in early august, had a couple people interested, had one guy that was gona buy it for $25G's CDN, and then unfortunately my motor gave up as one of the valve springs broke and pretty much destroyed my head and piston, but the block still in good condition.
So i told this potential buyer what happened to the car, and he didnt really care, cause he had plans to turbo it anyways (mine was more set up for NA), so then i dropped the price by 5g's, and he would take it for 20g's CDN, everything included still.
Then he couldnt get the loan from the bank, as he has horrible credit rating, but still to this day is tryin to come up with the money to buy my car, thats how bad he wants it, lol.

So, what do u guys think i should do...keep the car over winter and rebuild it with factory honda parts, or still try to get rid of it? The only buyers that i would attract are ones that know their stuff bout this car, and are willing to take on a nice winter project (all the car needs is the head and to get new pistons/rings for the block).

Here is a link to one of my 'for sale' threads and check out all the specs on the car:

Some of you guys might of seen this car at this past Expo in MI

it was originally C-W, since its a 1996 model. The car was repainted in P-Y cause i think its more rare around here. It was repainted professionally, looks like factory, everythin was removed , the doors, hatch, bumpers, fenders, windows, etc.

it wasnt very hard...my insurance company knows that it was imported, etc, and they even took pics of it, inside and out, and engine bay pics too.

But as i've stated in my link at top ^ , ill give full details and all the info/history for this car to the next buyer.

It seems like having a blown engine would devalue the car, by more than it would cost to rebuild the engine. /ramble

well, i started to remove some of the crap from the engine bay, so im basically gona clean up everything, take the block out and start to rebuild it slowly over winter time, by spring time she should be firing up again!
