Default Any turbo d17's in here?

Just wondering if anyone else has gone trough what i have to acheive great numbers out of a d17. Im currently in the mid 250's whp, but that seems to be my limit because of traction issues. Daily im only running 10 psi (about 220 whp), thats where i seem to still be able to hook up the tires for traction. If you boosted post a pic of your setup so i (as well as others) can see. Thanks

Too bad you missed the 100+ page picture thread. Pretty much everybody here has posted photos. Check it out.

As well as the Official EM2 crew thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1329226

That is why you go through the pic threads, and PM the turbo'd ones for pics .

BTW: Put pics of yours up.

Why are you making this so difficult? I dont have time to go through 1000000 pages of coupes and then PM them to tell them to post in this thread, if they see this then im sure they will post up their setup.

Why are you asking for something that's already been posted? You could just Search and get it over with.

oh yea red.em2, Im pretty sure Tfanff has been boosted close to 2 years now!! Just goes to show if you know what your doing, unlike most people, your setup can last a VERY long time. I have been boosted close to 2 years also, never had a problem except replacing a HG 2x, but since ive switched to APR head studs ive been golden.

actually its close to 2 years, but not there yet....... As for problems i've had ZERO. And when i mean ZERO .... ummmmmm 0. Ive done 99.9% of the turbo setup myself(excluding a few tig welds on the fuel rail and intercooler). The tranny does seem to get a little sloppy between shifts but with proper driving you can control it. I am running a very moderate tune with fairly low boost, but this is my daily driver 24x7 365! I've got other transportation available now so i may start cranking it up in psi/fuel and mods to bring the HP up. But im undecided as to build more of the D17 or swap. I've got a VERY solid foundation with the D17 that i may just stick with it and shoot for 300's. Who knows........

I'm actually starting to think of a mild turbo set up. Post more pictures guys. 170WHP in an EM2 is nothing to sneeze at.

nice turbo set-up. my buddy's got a 4 door with a custom turbo set-up making right at 195 on like 10lbs i think. but he's actually making more torque than hp because his turbo is so small and builds boost at like 2000 rpms.
but i like your setup. turbo/automatic/d series = respect.

^^ nice setup in your EM2 and good luck on the ka24 setup. i personally think its a better platform to start on than a sr20 swap

thanks man, i've put a lot of time into my em2. and i'm extremely pleased with it. i agree about the ka24, I personally don't like sr20's. the ka24 can be built just as easy and can handle more power/torque just because it's a larger motor.
