I don't get how you'd miss the piles of info on this topic...

I'd keep the z6 myself easy as cake to get parts and or work on. Not that the dohc zc is bad but you have a good z6 just waiting.

i kno the z6 is a good motor, but i heard that the dohc zc has more torque and its easyer and cheaper to wire up in a dx rex than the z6...but im guessing the zc doesnt have the top end that the z6 has?

they both are good motors. The reason for the z6 is...
1. you already have it
2. you can go to any parts store and buy all the parts for it.
3. the numerious amounts of aftermarket parts

If you want it, buy it. Make your own decision.

We all think you'd be better off keeping the motor you already have.

i have a d15b and its a peppy little motor plus the vtec is great, but i have done alot of thinking since the swap and i would have went with a dohc zc i think it would have been cheaper and a little more original but dont let me sway you from the z6
