With two races left in the season and just 34 points between the number 1 spot and the number 5 rider, anything goes. The next race will be at Estoril, Portugal and then the final race Valencia.
Ofcourse the main headline is Nicky Vs. Rossi. With just 12 points going to Hayden. But Rossi is charging hard. He gained 39 pts on Nicky in the past four races alone.
Here's the points standing.
Nicky 236
Rossi 224
Melandri 209
Capirossi 205
Pedrosa 202

I really wanted to see Pedrosa take it as a rookie. That'd be awesome and would have all the veterans fuming! I would've loved to see Rossi so f'ing irrate that he'd blow his lid and take Pedrosa out next season.
I see Rossi as looking at his situation with Hayden as just plain bad luck and so far this season, had nothing to do with Hayden riding better than Rossi. Rossi knows he's better than Hayden and it's probably gonna take more than one championship to prove it to Rossi.

My thoughts exactly

I would really like to see Rossi win it. But, in reality there are multiple contendors. Side note..does someone sell Moto GP dvd's that recap each season?

oh come on people. I have faith that Hayden will pull it out. Rossi is charging but I'm confident that it'll come down to the final race and that Hayden will do well enough that he wins by a small margin of points

+1 on that.
i think it will come down to the final race and they might be neck and neck. tire condition on the last few laps will decide. as it has sooo many times.

Check in the RRW or RRX magazine...there is usually one ad in there selling season recaps of some series (eg, WSBK).

Picked Hayden. I'm not going to jump on the Rossi bandwagon, like you ghey-wads.

It'll be tough for Hayden to keep the lead, unless Rossi's tire starts blowing chunks again. But it'll be exciting, none-the-less.

Hayden could get 7th place in the next two races and still beat pedrosa.

You guys aren't looking at the overall picture...
Sure 70 percent is the rider...but the other 30 percent is your team. If your team/sponsors/factory company aren't backing you and giving you a good machine then you might as well be riding a 10 speed.

Hayden

thats if he does better than 7th place in both races
. lets not forget about brno and donnington.
haha, im just a pedrosa fan i guess. I really want pedrosa to win, even though its almost impossible.
most likely whats going to happen, i think atleast, is nicky and rossi are going to battle it out and pedrosa is going to save nicky's butt and block rossi's *** out of the podium

no way would pedrosa ever BLOCK for Hayden. Your teamate really isn't your ally at all

and if he doesn't and it's a difference of less than a few pts, we'll all think about the unenforced drive through for valentino for passing under yellow...

The question wasn't who do you want to win, Im sure 90% of this forum wants hayden to win because he rides honda and is usa. Like I said I want him to win but Rossi is going to, he is shape-shifting cyborg sent back from the future to kill Nicky Hayden before he can grow up to lead the resistance
