Default Car won't start after drivers side wire tuck???

So I did the passenger side and all my lights work but the car won't turn on or over at all. I included 2 pictures of whats going on. I'm no wiring guru so any help is appreciated.

1.) When I turn the key the rpm needle jumps way high, the car won't start, but all the lights come on like normal (I took a pic in the light so you can't tell the lights on the gauge cluster are on).

2.) I'm not sure what this is but I lengthened the wires and think maybe this plug could be the issue.

Dang man......you crossed something, or reconnected some wires together wrong.

I hope you loosely ran it all together so it's easier to track down!

I haven't soldered yet. They're just twisted together for now. So do you think it has to do with that plug in the second pic?

well if they're all just twisted together you've probably got more than one connection touching somewhere down the line. your tach jumping all the way over like that is a classic symptom of a short.

OK I re-routed my wires to that plug and reconnected them. Then I charged up my battery and the car starts and runs like normal but the tach is dipped below the red and not moving like its broken or something. The battery won't hold a charge now at all either. Its all f-ed up

you probably have a paricidic draw? do u know how to use a multi meter? if not you should learn ro take to some one that knows how to test that. but basicaly you want to disconect the negitave battrie cable and put your meter on the amp setting and check to see if there anything more than like .05
milla amp the start pulling fuses from the fuce block untill that current flow gos away once youve issolated that circut crossrefence that circuts wires with a good wireing diagram....... good luck
