RIP: Bubblepants' CRX Si
Mel can give the details, I'll just post up what few pics I have. Mel is OK and her passenger is doing pretty good as well. Now that the important stuff is out of the way, check out the aftermath:

I think I speak for everyone when I say, "Thank God Mel's ok". I hope your cool with me posting this.
Everyone drive safely!
***EDITED TO ADD NEW PICS FROM MEL'S DAD***
Here's the pics her dad was kind enough to send me: (Thanks again Kevin!)

Agreed....I hope that this accident was not in direct relation of someone screwing around too.
There are still some parts in that car that would be worth some money.

3:30am...******* around on the road? What about a person falling asleep at the wheel after a hard night at work. She's lucky to be alive and you wanna say **** like that?
F U C K you.
This wasn't a "streetracing" accident.

Good glad to hear that no one was messing around. It just seems like most times when these things occur it was due to someone screwing around. SIred91 was just a little quick to jump, it is a logical assumption though.

Now I understand your comment earlier. Yeah, it was her and another girl driving home. Bpants and I aren't dating anymore, so I don't know the story in graphic detail but I'm sure there was no screwing around going on. Her and I did talk about that much.
im glad the people you knew are alright, when i first saw that image i thought for sure a fatality had happened.
not to be rude, but that car must have been moving pretty well to total that hard.
i realize no racing took place, but that is squished very hard and how does one hit multiple telephone poles, did the car go end over end?
reguardless, these images should saved and posted on anyone's thread who comes on here asking how to remove the speed goverenor from an ecu.
glad the 2 ppl lived.

HOLY ****! HOLY ****! HOLY ****!
I was in an accident last summer where we were hit by a semi and spun around backward on the interstate at 70mph. All that went through my head and came out of my mouth till well after we stopped was HOLY **** HOLY **** HOLY ****!
When I saw these pictures I was back in the passenger seat with my heart in my throat going ...well you get the picture.
BTW we both walked away completely unscathed except for the soiled underwear.
Very glad they both survived. Had you not said that they both lived (and no major injuries!!!) I would have assumed a fatality for sure

The most un-believeable thing is that her boyfriend and friends surprised her with ANOTHER red 89 CRX Si just a few minutes ago. She went less than a day without her "lil red" Si!
