put it in a flat long cardboard box and send it off via UPS or USPS. You could just take some cardboard and wrap it up with A LOT of tape..... you could....

i was thinking some sort of cardboard device like a box? :D nah when we shipped out a sway bar we got a box that was 2 inches high and was pretty long just put a bunch of peanuts in shove the bar and your good to go.
thanks guys but this is for a FRONT sway bar... it curves a lot... it's not flat and simple like maybe a rear sway bar would be..hmmmm i dunno lol
I have shipped the ghettoest looking "box" through fedex or ups. It don't have to be all flat, nor nice and even. As long as it is sturdy, you should be okay. I normally tape up pieces of cardboard together.

Go to your local moving store and buy two lamp boxes. Insert half the swaybar in one box and put the other box in overtop. add peanuts...tape real good. Good luck!
thanks guys... now that packaging is out of the way..sort of..... how much is a reasonable price to get it shipped? like i said i got calculated 20 bucks from ups... from cali to (i think somewhere in east coast, not sure...) is 20 bucks good price for shipping? thanks you guys, you guys had some great suggestions
go to your local Mail Boxes Etc. or any authorized shipper and they should have a box that's about as long as the sway bar, something like a 45x9, or 50x11. not exact numbers but that should give you an idea. and 20 is about right. i just shipped out a rear sway bar last week but it's slightly lighter than the front and they charged me 15.
