Default i have a dart block and want to use a baffled oil pan for rr/ ax.....

Like the topic says... I have a dart talldeck that I'm building (the block is actually finished, just need a head to complete the motor).

DART seems to have taken their cast from an LS... well I've had the erl 5 bolt main girdle mated to it by jim justice, and assembled/ clearanced by Don Flores.

Now I'm trying to figure out what baffled oil pan to use...

My understanding is that they will mate up with an LS oil pan and pickup.

BUT I need baffles. I can get a baffled mugen pan for a good price, so I had considered going with one of those. Or is there a RELIABLE weld-in baffle set available these days? I'd like one with the lips protruding down a bit to direct oil back at the pickup.....

Fastline makes baffles for most Honda pans. I think they're less than $20 and look pretty nice. You can check them out here:

i can't tell from the pics, but do the baffles on the fastline product have a lip protruding downwards to aim oil sloshing back toward the pickup?

iirc, you can use whatever oil pan you want with bseries, it's just that you must use the matching oil pickup?

It looks like they're just flat plates from the pics. Yeah, I believe the pickup you're using dictates which pan to use.
