my damn sunroof is busted, it wont close and i have been putting off replacing it for a while, then it rained last night. i have tried to fix it but it is all busted inside.
my question is, will a civic of the same generation of my crx with a sunroof fit mine?

 

no, the crx and civic sunroofs are different.

 

see that little plastic plug in the roof you should be able to pull that out and use a tool to hand crank the sun roof open or closed...aslo have you take the switch apart and cleaned the contacts? the CRX I just bough would only open to ven and not slide once i removed and clean the switch it works better than any other car I've seen, hope that helps and yea CRX Sunroof only fits...

 

the tracks are rusted and so are the cables and some of the linkage is broken so t wont seal, so its fucked, i need a new one

 

Civic = Moonroof
CRX = Sunroof.

You are out of luck there.

Simply visit your local scrap yard and see what they have. Go ask honda what they have too.
