Okay guys here the deal. We pulled out the F22B motor and dropped in the H23 Motor. The motor mount brackets were exactly the same so it was a direct fit. We had to re-use the original wire harness from the F22B motor on the H23 cause we didn't have the harness for the H23 since it's a JDM motor.

Now some issues we ran into are.

1. The injector clips are different so we have to wire in the clips that came with the injectors on the H23 to the F22B wire harness. To avoid this I tried to cheat and use the old injectors from the F22B motor, but they wouldn't fit on th eintake manifold. The old injectors were bigger than the holes on the H23 manifold. SO i even though tthe heel with it lets juts swap intake manifolds, but the intake manifold from the F22B doesn't match up with the H23 Head.

2. The PS bracket from the F22B doesn't fit on the H23 Block. And the H23 motor didn't come with the PS bracket. So if anyone has this bracket let me know cause the person im doing this swap for really wants to keep the PS. Or if i can use th ebracket from a H22 motor then please let me know andi'll try and find it.

3. We accidentally broke the Hydrolic tranny line. It's that cable that looks like a brake line. I tried to find it but could not find it anywhere, so if anyone has one for a H23 of H-series motor please let me know.

4. The front motor mount we have is also busted, SO if anyone has it for a 95 Accord please let me know i will buy it from you if you have it.

5. We swap the dizzy from OBD-2 to OBD-1 only to find out the the OBD-1 dizzy is missing the rotor on the inside. I went and bought another rotor but the dizzy looks like some other things are missing from it. I'll take pics an dpost them later to show you what i mean.

6. The intake manifold has all kind of extra sensors that the old intake manifold didn't have. I don't know what they are, but i will post pics later of each sensor that i don't have the pluges for. Maybe someone can tell me what they are.

7. the fuel line that came with the motor was cut. It's the line with the big fat loop on the end that goes with the motor. Im looking for that also, so again if anyone has these parts let me know.

Im not sure if there is anything i left out right now so if i did and anyone has any info about this motor and swap please chime in.

do you have any of the spare parts i need. Also how did you wire up the extra sensors on the intake manifold.

 

when you say f22b engine, are you refering to the JDM F22B DOHC motor or USDM F22B1/F22B2?

1. My h23 didn't come with power steering or a/c. so I converted my car to "closed loop" steering (my writeup can be found here : http://www.accordinglydone.com...12946 ). I believe the bracket from an h22 is the same as the h23, but dont quote me on that.

2. for the hydrolic brake line (if i'm thinking of what it is exactly, the "brake line" looking thing that goes over the top of the transmission housing, correct?) you can use the one off the old motor or buy a new one from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com since they are the cheapest place to buy honda parts that i found.

3. you can buy the front motor mount on ebay for not that much (I just bought one for like $20 shipped on ebay a few months ago), or buy it from hondaautomotiveparts.com

4. if you need an h23 external coil dizzy w/ coil, i have one that i would be willing to sell you.

5. post some pics of the dizzy and intake manifold since there shouldnt be that many extra sensors on the intake manifold (1 or 2). also take some other pictures of the swap if possible.
