Burnt residue off of exhaust manifold
i just got some dc sports i'm installing so far everthing is kinda going ok except when i was taking off the old header bolts one of 'em just broke off is it safe to install the new header with a broken thread. The other thing is where that same bolt broke off that entire side is BURNT i mean really dark i hope i don't sound stupid i know it's exhaust and all. The gasket is Dark (just that one side) but the rest of the gasket looks normal rusty of course could it be i'm running rich or lean if so anyone have ideas how to stop it.
i have pics anyone know how to post it,

your exhaust is leaking the black soot, it is also sucking in fresh air as part of the valve overlap and the fresh air is catching the unburned fuel on fire and making the pipe really hot, more than the others. Fix it or you will be buying a new cat convertor next. Also the gasket material that flow through the exhaust system will damage the O2 sensor also.
Wait, The Stud Broke Off In The Head?
If so Then you Need a Bolt extractor,
Dont do things half asd, Do it the right way the first time and youll be more happy with the results
Dont do it because your so excited just to get it done
