Im back to d-series, wtf is this?

its on the back of the head by the disributer and my first thought was a place for the vtec solenoid but its a b7 motor, i bought this car from someone who didnt know much about it....

the picture is turned...

It is where the vtec solenoid would be. Honda just made the d-series heads with the same casting. Since its not a vtec head, there is no place to put. It just looks like it.

thats were the mech. fuel pump went on the carb models, dont wory about it

I think that is where the mechanical fuel pump would have been if it was a carbed motor

cool, i was just wondering. Its getting a z6 soon though, which leads to another question. I know this should be 92-00 forum but, the car is a 93 but it was built 9/92 so would it still be wired for vtec?
