Default Hardest b-series engine swap question ever.

Okay, today I got my 99-00 Si rear bracket for the engine swap that I plan to do really soon. At the shop I ride for, Stereo Junction, they are just now finishing the motor for an Automatic b16/gsr screamer that is gonna own some 5-spds. Anyway, I compared my bracket that I just bought to one they had there, when they ordered it from the acura dealership, they said 94 integra LS automatic, that's the bracket we want. They haven't got to putting the motor in (97 EX) that car yet, so what i'm wondering is which bracket to use in what car. Mine is just gonna be a plain b-series swap in a 94 civic, and i've got the later bracket. How about some pictures.

these pictures aren't going to show up until you click, http://www.geocities.com/fuznut/bracket.html

as you can see, the si bracket(front) is shorter

larger view

different

any ideas?

none of your pics work for me

since the bracket goes on the tranny, I doubt it (SI) will work

I held the si mount up to his auto gsr tranny and it looked like it would work on that, in fact where the mount hooks to the trannny, block, is all good, it's just the two brackets have different lengths to the the rear mount.

great, that means the wrong people have the right brackets.

That's what I was thinking, I appreciate the input, although I was told by other sources that we had to use the integra rear on the 96- and somebody said I can't do a b-series into an 92-95 without the Si bracket. People are so dumb, I hate people who think they know stuff, (people just like me.)

For what car? For a 96+ 5 spd. you'll need 99 Si rear and driver's upper brackets. For the b series auto swap, well... we had to make custom mounts to say the least.

92-95 b-series swap uses the integra bracket .

96-00 b-series swap uses the 99-00 si bracket.
