How to take apart my dash and guage cluster? 5th Gen
I want to take off my dash, so I can do a LED swap, but I am not sure how to do this correctly. Is there a diagram or tutorial that would show how to do this correctly?
pop out the switches (ie cruise control. defrost, and blinkers) behind each of these switches will be a philips heaqd srew that you need to romove. Then there are two more screws in front of the gauge cluster on top. If you remove all of these screws you should be able to pull the black dash piece out. You will have to unplug the plugs that go ti the climate control as well as remove the cable that goes to the fan adjustemnt.
There is a little gap on these switches when you look close, all you need to do is put a screwdriver (flat head) and pry them out. Be sure to use a piece of cloth or something below the switch and under the screwdriver, so you avoid damaging the panel.

Well, I just did a search and didn't find anything that actually had pics.
But I remember when I did mine, and it was with the help of 94-97 Accord manual from Haines.
It would be better using the Haines manual, because it show pictures step by step.
