Default Broken Water Pump?

I just got in my car, started it, and backed up a little to see if I had fixed my leaky oil-pan.

There was a little patch of stuff on the ground, so i checked my oil, and then looked under the car; to my surprise, there's now coolant dripping (like one drip every second or two).

It's dripping off of the front drivers side corner of the oil-pan, so I'm thinking my water pump (which is located above there......right??) is busted/leaking/something and is dripping down.

Would this be a reasonable explanation? Any tips, help, input, anything is huuugggeeelllyyyyy appreciated!

Thanks in advance guys! sorry if any clarification is needed!

mine is doing the same thing 94 accord lx, fucked up thing is i just it done and the douche bag mechanic either put the belt on too tight or the pump was a bad one from napa now i gotta spend money to re do it again. Anyway so far mine is a slow leak oozing onto the oil pan sooner or later it's gonna fail.

Which Accord is it? Model/ Year

If its either of the 91s, im guessing you have 100k Plus on em, and it would be time for a new water pump and timing belt ....

it's my 91 EX, which has about 185,xxx kilometers on it (so about 120,xxx miles) and i have NO idea when the water pump or timing belt were last replaced.

Right now, my plan is to take it in and have a full timing belt and water pump job done.

I'm debating whether i wanna drive to the shop, which is fairly close.

Jmumblez, im guessing that your car has/had something similar to mine, and yours was still driveable?

thanks for the input guys!
