Anyone else get hailed on today?
We had a brief but severe storm in Gaithersburg, MD today that left my car as dimpled as a golf ball.
Actually, it isn't that bad, but, there are definately about 5 very noticable dings, and many more tiny ones. I won't know for sure until I get a chance to wash the car.
Anyone have experience with insurance claims of this type? Do they waive the deductable like they do with windshield crack repairs?
There wasn't much I could do as we don't have any shelter to park under at the office. We all watched in horror out the window as hail the size of wallnuts bounced off of our cars...
On the bright side, maybe the dimples will improve my times at the track tomorrow.

Yes, comprehensive will cover everything that happens to your car including natural disasters. But your deductable still applies regardless. I was going to get my windshield replaced when I have a quarter size crack but after finding out the windshield is just few bucks over my deductable, I say screw it and went to Autozone and bought a self repair kit. Now the crack is not longer visible from the inside except for that pea size bull's eye ding.
