No vtec, how do i test parts
Iv been reading posts for weeks now about it so i have to ask.
Just bought a jdm prelude 2.2 dohc and the vtec isnt working. The bloke said he'd just done an oil change a few weeks earlier, the solenoid clicks, iv put more oil in cause it was at minimum. inly a litre more tho.. this enough?
my error codes are 17 VSS sometimes and 21 spool solenoid all the time. these only show when i unplug the vtec controller too.
how do i test the VSS?
when i checked the gauze in the solenoid i forgot to tighten it up and oil pissed out so im gettin pressure up there. i want VTEC ALREADY!! please help
