Help shop for head !

Help shop for head AND SH tranny for 50 DOLLARS?
I found a guy who pulled his engine out after an accident. He is parting it out and said the engine shot from the side of the block. He says the head is fine? Can the head be damaged from this? any help is appreciated.. Since he needs to get rid of the engine quickly, if you help me and need parts off a H22a4 (2000 prelude) I can help you out too. he has everything but the manual tranny!

bump, 150$ good price?
50$ SH tranny with 80k mile - shop owner putting it out, is 80k still reliable for 5spd sh tranny? can i use this tranny like a base tranny?

ask him for pic tures of the valves, if the piston hit the valves you will have bent valves, and obviously when a rod goes thru the motor the piston is free to do as it pleases,
