Ok, dumb question, what type of antifreeze is okay to use in a Civic?

I usually just let my dealership deal with the antifreeze, since I'm still under warranty, but I've had great luck with Prestone.

honda genuine is the best for our engines., its easy on the aluminum.

You are talking about the dealer... the ones who will sell you undercoating and paint sealant...

You can use any high quality antifreeze, that is silicate-free, phosphate-free, borate-free.

Don't believe the hype.

I bought it from the dealer. Huge rip off $15! Hoepfully the one bottle is enough.

Owner's manual recommends Honda's own antifreeze. It comes pre-mixed.
