ef9 front bumper mounting

Default ef9 front bumper mounting

i cant get this fu#@in bumper on. its a jdm ef9 bumper goin on to my 91 hatch.the stock bracket doest fit onto bumper (cover). is there something im missing here? do i have to get jdm bracket as well? i cut corners of bracket for turn signals as well.

no duh, its a crx bumper. u can get it to work but u need to get the fenders also, but then crx fenders have teh lower portions removed for the sideskirts, so it will look weird.

ef9 is the civic hatch, take your stock us bumper cover and support off. get rid of em you wont need em, there should be two brackets in the ef9 bumper cover that should have two holes each that should somewhat line up with the two holes you just took the bolt out of. also make sure you have the headlight filler piece and headlight and so forth. it will fit you may have two loosen up the stock brackets on the car and let the adjust to the jdm bumper, it can be a pain but well worth it. ef8 is the crx not ef9. good luck and hope it works out and you get it to fit.

so i shouldnt use any support at all behind bumper cover? that would make the weaker than it already is. but idf thats what need to make it work

You don't use the USDM bumper support. You need to use the EF9 bracket.

bracket being the metal that bolts onto the car? where the hell can i find juts a ef9 bracket?

if your bumper has that metal bracket on the back of it on each side u have what you need. if not., not sure why u dont. good luck. but you should have those metal brackets and they should line up with your car.

yeah i have that, i thought you meant the big metal bracket. so thats all i need to make it work? i have that piece.
