I would start by drinking a gallon of antifreeze. After you have that taken care of, go ahead and find the biggest hammer you can and smash yourself in the teeth with it until you black out.

That should about do it.

take out the trim piece under the cd player.

reach in behind it and push as hard as you can...it may take time but eventually either the locking tabs will give, or the bracket will come out.

i had to do mine this way. or you can get a piece of thin metal and shove it in the keyways and push from behind

I'd drag you behind a car through a cut cornfield if I wasn't 2000 miles away.

Dang, if that's the case then everyone here should be dead. But I'm sure you came out knowing what apc was, how to do neutral drops, and how to take a whole car apart.

You've gotta learn the first some where. I took my glove out and the whole thing under the stereo and shove on the back till it gave way.

go to the stereo shop and ask them for the little metal peices that allow you to pull the headunit out. if not, then just suck it up and let them install your amp....maybe best.

and screw all you flammers. he just asked a simple question. he didnt ask where his "vtec switch" was or something incredibly dumb. This was what honda-tech was started for right? question answering. not everyone was gifted enough to be born knowing everything about anything.

civic-widebody Go back to the shop that installed the HU and ask for your release keys, or any Kenwood dealer and have them "release" the HU, however if the HU was properly installed it will have a rear support that will have to "undone" before HU will slide out. 94
