Without rolling fenders or are you willing to roll them, and do you want to be stock or lowered?

Um, wheel size does not control wheel spin... That is the tires job there partner.

On an S.Tech drop, I would PROBABLY go with a 16x7 wheel, about a +35 to a +40 offset, with 205/50/16.

Anything larger on the tire, or a larger offset, you will probably need to roll your fenders. I wouldn't go anything much more than that.

OEM looks great IMO. Just look around and use google to your advantage. Find what you like best. Plus, we have a 100+ page long picture thread. Check it out, and get some ideas.

OEM are the only good sideskirts.

I am rocking a 1.3" H&R drop, with 16x7's with 205/50/16's and there is QUITE a finger gap.

I would still go for 16's but try a 215/45/16 tire.

IMO unless you are REALLY dropped, 15" will be a little to small, and 17's are gay on civic's.

i have h&r's too its actually a 1.5 inch drop according to the alignment paper. and on the price quote paper from les shwab it says with a 16x 7 inch 40 offset rim. if i got a 205-45-16 my gap would be 23.30, if i got 205-50-16 the gap would be 24.10, if i got 195-50-16 my gap would be 23.80. As of right now i have 17's with 40 series tires and my gap is 23.50.

wheel well gap largest to smallest:
23.30
23.50
23.80
23.30

hope that helps?

I doubt it, ill compare it to when i get my new springs installed ( they are on order now Neuspeed sports.

Regardless, I think with a 2.5" drop, ull be fine with 205/45's.

205/45's look too tiny, in my opinion. They're also very rough on the ride characteristics. I've got 205/55's and 195/50's, and I would say 205/50's would be ideal.

17's are way too big uuhhh I am on 205/50/15 with a 2'5 drop all the way around and I love it except speed bumps my piping scrapes the speed bumps all the way. Either go 15 or 16 not 17's 1.3 wont be satisfying u gotta go low.

I'm currently riding on 16"x7" 205/50 tires... With coilovers, pretty smooth compared to my buddies slammed FC on 225/45...

Looking at them now though, I kind of wish I had gone a bit bigger, maybe 17"...
But I plan on slamming the life out of my Civic in a couple of days so I guess 16"s will work perfectly.

Right now I am currently running, with rolled sleves, 215/35/18 I think. I'm probably gonna push my tires to 225. I still have clearance and I'm no where close to rubbing.

I do have a question though. My low profile tires are curved, how do I get them to be straight walled?

how ever wheel size does control what tire you can put on a car. and certain brands dont make tires to the size you may want or need. its usually the lower quality tire that makes the size you want.

I disagree. I've seen Eagle F1 GS-D3's for 15's, 16's, 17's, and even 18's, that would suit our car. Nothing lower quality about them.

Ive gone threw about 12 different brands and sizes of tire on my 16's.. im just saying from personal experince you have a better variaty and more sizes to choose from with 15's ant 17's.

You need to match the width of the tire to the width of rim. Thats how VW's get away with rocking like 215's and a 16x8 rim, they stretch the hell out of it.

What size is your 18" rim? 8" wide or 7" wide? I doubt 8" becuase we already figured out they (probably) wont work
