if thats rust on your hatch you might want to sand that down and put some primer on it so it doesn't get worse... good luck

id search in more areas and see if you have the "honda rot" (rust in the rocker panels and rear quarter panels)

its going to bother you when it eats a whole through you panels and you cant paint over it and i dont think you can get new quarter panels if so id think it would be difficult ... but just my 2cents not trying to be mean just trying to save you from a possible mistake good luck

if it eats my car up to bad on the quarters then i might have it cut and weld a new piece on and get a paint job. or just turn the car into a track car and get me another street toy.

What type of plug did you use when you removed the rear wiper? I want to do that to mine, just don't know where to get a plug.

i got it off ebay supose to be a direct fit but the rear glass was too thick so i used some weather sealer. i will try and get a link. it was like $15.50 shipped.
link to the plug on ebay.
