Default Good speed - poor ET

Decided I wanted something different than built up Detroit iron.
Completed 92 CX hatch with built/set up H22
Darton, Arias 10:1, Crower billet rods, GE intake, Fullrace ex., 3" dt and ex., JG 'street' head, stock cams, 700 cc inj., S300, GT30 w .82 a/r, intercooler.

Coilovers, KYB adjustables, camber kit, front aftermarket sway bar, ProDrive high hp axles with longer studs, Brembo brakes, 225x50x15 drag radials.
Use 113 octane (120 race gas)

1st time at the strip in 40 years. I knew 1st and second would be loose.
Dialed boost down to around 15 lbs. (higher setting is 17 lbs. - 465 whp & 348 wtq)
Preloaded, slipped clutch then wot. Pretty much bounced off rev limiter in 1st and 2nd. Tried to feather throttle but tires spun and not much traction until 3rd.
Car weighs 2350 and has full interior.
Best time @ 10 psi on the DRs

1/4 12.9 118 mph
1/8 8.7 91 mph
60 ft. 2.2

I know I need to learn how to drive but what are ways I can improve times?
Going to try slicks to improve launch/60 ft.

I pretty much just slipped my clutch off the launch. I was running mid to low 12's all day, then I actually got slicks, and what a world of a difference. All you need is slicks and you should be good to go. 1.8 60' is good enough for me
