Ok, the weird thing is my R is an 1995 Spec DC2 ITR and i did some research and found out that they started making R's in 96.. but what i'm most confused about is that i cant find the make number (#00234 for example)... if they started putting numbers later on in the series of the dc2 R why later on? does that make my R more rare? or would my car be a fake R...all i saw on it was a blue plate of metal in my engine bay saying E-DC2 type r something like that, the guy i brought it from said you can only tell if it's a real R.....help plzzzzz !!!!

 

JDM ITR's weren't numbered until 2000.
