Hey guys, so last week my car was just spewing the oil, looked at it, Oil pressure sending unit was bad, and i replaced it and did an oil change, then today, started spewing oil again, so without hesitation, replaced the 1st sending unit, with a new one, come to find out the oil filter just had a hole in it... after about 20 miles of driving after the work today, oil light comes on at stops, light is very dim and somewhat flashing, any throttle, light goes away. after about 10 more miles, it starts flashing continuisly. Temp is ok all the time... think its another bad unit not reading the actual pressure... any help is appreciated.

Impossible to tell over the internet. If your dipstick says you have good oil then it could be the sending unit. As far as I know that's the only way to tell. Or you could go as far as draining your oil out and seeing how much comes out.

 

an oil pressure test will tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth!
