Tow hooks?
Why do people get tow hooks if there already is one on the car? Is it because some people's cars are too low to tow? But I've seen a lot of cars that weren't that low with tow hooks. Is this a track item or a daily driver item? Most cars get lifted by the front wheels, not by the tow hooks. And tow hooks are meant to be pulled downwards to hold the car on a trailer. But I don't even see cars at the track getting towed either. They are either on a trailer or drive themselves. Plus a lot of the tow hooks are made of aluminum so they aren't meant for any long term towing. I've been to several lapping events and most of the cars I see crash are usually on their backs. Please explain.

Looks!? You mean those gaudy things? How in any way, shape, or form do they look good? You mean people put them on their cars cause they don't have enough dough for anything truely useful... in essense it's the pricey decal.

Damn, kinda pissed off, different people have different tastes. I have mine for looks, but I've used the rear one before. It's the N1 thing to do. Some people appreciate it, other people get water squirters that light up to match the valve caps on their 18-inch rims, whatever you like.....
i have tow hooks on my hatch because i got it towed and lost my front lip so mine is there for a reason
it is kinda guady but it serves a purpose for me anyways
thanks
