Does anyone know what kind of touch up paint would match the Fit Sport 15" rim. I put a small scratch on mines, and would like to patch it before any corrosion occurs. Thanks.

the closest would probably alabaster silver from honda. but i still dont think it will be exact.

 

We'll need luck to find this, hopefully Honda makes paint for these rims. I can't even get it for a Lexus, even they don't make it - which really seems odd!

 

The Fit Sport wheel face is just machined and clearcoated alloy. The sides of the spokes are painted, but I'm guessing you scratched a wheel face rather than the side of a spoke. You could try using touch-up paint intended for clearcoat... it should be available at most auto parts stores.

 

I'm not sure any corrosion would be any problem. Aluminum doesn't continue to oxidize like the iron that turns to iron oxide (rust) in steel does. Aluminum oxide on aluminum forms in miliseconds after exposure to air and ends the corrosion process. But, I'm not sure if it becomes a problem with the clear-coat or paint on the wheel.

 

Good idea, guess I need to look for some matching touch-up paint, too bad the manufacturers don't make matching paint for their wheels.
