Default So I Bought A Strut Bar

This one here
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...%3AIT

When I connect it to the holder things the bar is lose and the nuts have a rubber stopper that doesnt let it tighten all the way. It only comes with 2 washers and is lose.

now does that nut with the ruber stopper tighten more or what?

cant quite see, but its wobbly as hell

That is what you get for buying a 20 dollar ebay strut bar and not taking our advice...

But to awnser your question, tighten it down all the way, and if it s loose, then it is just going to be loose.

im guessin from the looks of it it was made to just be tight and not worry about moving left and right it was just to make the suspension tight? its hard to explain

No offense, but you get what you pay for. You may need to buy more washers to get the desired stiffness, but even then, the bar doesn't look like it's all that strong.

I believe I said that, of the options, it was the better choice. It doesn't mean that you should have bought it. But, regardless, you could probably tighten it up more, with some thicker, or more plentiful, washers.

I never said it was good. I said if you wanted something cheap you could buy something like that.

buy a bigger socket, or use an adjustable.

****Disclaimer*** I had a bad day at work, and I still have to go back in at 10 tonight, so don't get pissed for me venting a little bit****

You paid 30 some bucks for a strut bar, when you can obviously see that it is garbage looking at it. Why not spend that money once, and get quality stuff? It does not make sense to me.

I paid 120 bucks for mine, and will never have to touch it as long as I own it... You have never heard me say, "But eBay stuff, save a buck, the quality is just as good." You seem to act too quickly when you see something for sale. But I'm not mad at ya, because it is your money. But since you have second rate parts, I still laugh at you.

If you need some help, I and many other members are only a PM away. Until then, go ahead and keep modding your car with garbage.

You wanted something cheap, ignored the fine list in the FAQ's, and complained about a product that you bought on eBay. I feel no sympathy for you.

Too bad you took ONE person's advice for a piece of garbage wannabe strut bar. Ignore all the other FAQ's and threads about real strut bars. You know what that makes you?

A tool. You got used. You ever notice you were the FIRST one to say, " HEY GUYS!!!! Look at my eBay parts!!!" Yeah, you were. So suck it up, buy something else, and live and learn bud.

What do you expect from a guy that buys an eBay strut bar, and wonders why it doesn't fit and is an inferior quality.

When i posted the link I said it was cheap and on top of that you ignored all of mine and others reccomendations to buy the neuspeed bar. Please don't blame us.
