I just wanted to get some opinions. Should I paint my vlave cover red with white lettering or white with red lettering?

 

how about leaving the lettering silver?

 

Yeah I second that, just put some tape over the lettering.

the best way imo in painting the valve cover and leaving the lettering silver is to put some petroleum jelly on the lettering before you paint it. Then, paint the cover, let it dry. Then wipe off the paint and the jelly off the lettering.
