Default h23 tranny on h22 with flywheel and boost?

im considering picking up an h23 tranny from someone local, and next spring I should be boosted. I know thiers a debate on weither longer or shorter gears are better for boost. I was thinking of running the h23 tranny with a 12lb flywheel and was wondering what you guys think the effect of that would be over just running a h22 tranny. I didn't know if the flywheel would help while im not boosted to make up for the longer gears I would have. And what it would be like on boost.

their is very little differences between the trannys. my old setup with the h22 trand would not make it through the quarter without shifting to fifth. an h23 trans would but barely. this was on a boosted car. hope this helps
