HELP W/ SRS Light**********
Ok guys bare with me... My buddy has a SRS light on the dash.. Brought it to the dealer and they say he needs a OBDS sensor or something like that.. just wondering if the guys bsin him....any information will help..

first thing you need to do is run the vin for recall.
alot of pre-facelift accord have defective seatbelt bucket, which will trip off he SRS light, if your car is under the defective list then bring it back to the dealer.
My friend had to bring it back twice to get it fix

Could be as simple as adding oil to the system. I would look at that first. I had my 92 do that to me twice and all I did was bring the oil to the max level on the reservoir. Good luck

you mean oil to the enigine? oil is filled SRS light still on .. any other suggestions?

OPDS sensor is the unit in the passenger seat that determines the position of the passenger and if the seat side airbag will be effective in an accident. Depending on the mileage it may be covered under a warranty extension.

Wheres the OPDS sensor located.. and is it easy to change?
