Default 99 SI Intermittent wipers not working correctly.

When you put wiper switch to first position, intermittent , wiper arms will sweep one direction and not return. Then after a few seconds will return to original position. If you press wiper switch down for single sweep, wiper arms do same thing. One sweep across to left and stop, then if you hit the switch again will return to original position.

Is this the intermittent wiper relay gone bad? I know the switch/realy is on fuse panel on driver side.

My 97 dx coupe works just fine, wiper arms sweep once left then back to right unlike the SI which sweep left and stop.

It is more than likely either the relay (most likely) or an electrical issue in the motor (least likely).

I'd replace the relay first and foremost, simply because it is alot cheaper.

Thanks guy. I know that relay is on the back side of fuse panel. Entire panel has to be dropped down right? 10 mm bolts holding it to body?
