1994 ex civic cluster lights
My g/f's car has a problem with the cluster lights. They dont work. No burnt wires. All connectors are pushed in behind the dimmer. No blown fuses.
I pulled the connector out and noticed the dimmer has a couple diodes and a transister on the board... I was going to just make it run at full brightness but when I did a continuity test on the 3 wires (looking for ground) ALL 3 wires had short to ground. I dont know if it was a dead short or not because I dont have a meter here with me... Im not sure what this circuit does. I dont care if the cluster lights run full plast all the time... Can someone point me in the right direction? Rig job, I cont care... Just need to get her lights at night...
Thanks!
chris

bump...
Can I re-wire the cluster lights directly to a switched 12 volt supply, excluding the dimmer all together?
thanks...
