Hi,

Recently purchased a 91 hatch, it has a b16a block and a vtech head stamped pr3-3. i'd like to get some new spark plugs but the zex ones that are in it i cant find a cross referrence to. Anyone know what car i should be looking up for parts?

Pr3 heads were found on all generations of B16A, B16B (ctr), and B18C5 (ITR) engines.

Get plugs from any B16A Civic Si or Del Sol B16A

well, i put some bosch 4 platinums in, referenced the del sol b16 vtec, car runs like crap. Hard starting and hesitates sometimes from a starting stop. I advanced the timing a little bit and it got better but still sputters and once backfired on takeoff, just seems to be in the first little bit of the gas pedal, after that it runs great.
