Default Race fuel

Can a stock S2000 run 110 octane without changing compression?

It's not going to make his car any faster, though. Basically, just more $$ out of his pocket.

Unless he's got appropriate mods.

funny thing is overtime the ecu will compensate and wont pull back timing from a sensitive knock-sensor. For a brief change, no, there wont be any gains, only a loss in your pocket from the price of the fuel.

FYI, running leaded fuel will damage your o2 sensor over time.

Thanks guys, it was just a question that I was blindsided with and didnt have an answer. I pretty much told him the same thing that P Nut said that it would be a waste of money. And that if he really wanted to learn what the car can do he should take it to an HPDE and keep it on the track. He was like mid 50's and just got it about a year ago and was curious. I was telling him about my NASA track experience with my (D15b2) CRX and he kind of chuckled at the mention of my car.... But anyways thanks for the quick reply as Im never in your forum (I own a previously noted CRX). Cheers
