Ok out of nowhere the previous owner of my integra emails me.

He asks me, for a friend, if i want to trade my 17x7.5" white TE-37 for 18" gold TE37.

here are the cons

17 is huge on an integra but 18s are even bigger. so tires will be a PIA to fit normally.without rubbing issues or speedo issues

The wheels are in CA while im in PA


the Pros.

I could borrow my friends stock wheels for the mean time and try to sell the 18" rims to possibly some Mini Cooper people who can fit 18" jsut fine. Use that money and get the Volks i want, in the size i want. 16x7.5"

My 17" TEs are curbed and one has a slight bend in the lip. i woudl of course need to see the condition of the gold TEs first.

would it be worth the trade? to bother shipping 4 wheels with tires across the country and try to sell them to someone who I dont have lined up?

I don't know man, that sounds iffy jiffy. IF you could sell those 18'' wheels (depending on the condition) you could possibly get the wheels you do want. I agree 16" would look way better on your DC.

if the guy was local, then i'd be all for it. but the fact that y'alls are cross country makes it a cringer. i'm pretty sure you'd have no problem selling those gold TEs but damn, i'd check up on the condition of those first.

 

If they are in real good condition then do it and just sell the 18s and get what you want.

 

I just got pics of the 18s. they look worse than mine.

 

damn, those are pretty bad. i would say it's not worth it unless you got a really good hook up on repairing those bad boys.

what do those 17's weigh like 14?

 

Just sell off your 17's and get the ones you want..
