Removing/breakign threadlock on H22 oil pump casing?
Im about to swap my oil pump gear for the circuitworx gear and was wondering if anyone had any tips on removing the threadlock on the casing bolts?
The manual just mentions to put them back in with a little threadlock it doesnt mention the threadlock when taking the case apart to inspect the gears. I havent tried the bolts yet but am hoping a short sharp snap will break them loose. If anyone can offer any advice it would be great.
By the way for anyone else searching the torque setting is 9 Ib/ft for these bolts.

I don't think they are threadlocked on but you will have a hell of a time getting them off without the previously mentioned impact driver. Plus you are going to want to use an impact driver to put them back on otherwise you won't get them tight enough.
just to let you guys know it worked with an impact driver. I put some blue threadlock on the threads and the screwheads and impacted them back again.
The circuitworx gear didnt move as smoothly as the new stock honda gear thou, any ideas why this may be?
The stock honda gear can be moved with your finger the circuitworx gear didnt move as freely.

I did see that in the manual but thought I'd put a little faith in the circuitworx product. I guess now I think about it I should have checked. Is there a test to see whether the oil pump is in good working order? Should I notice if anythings up with it when cranking the engine
Thanks
