i would say get hasport replacement mounts or the ES insert kit.. i would think that the tq mounts would still fit though

I would at the very least get a rear mount insert. I run a full set with no torque mounts. No probs.

if ur not going to run torque mounts, I think u should at least get some perfomance mounts, like hasport or innovative. Those are stiffer mounts and can withstand way more beating than stock.

With the power that thing looks like it will make, you should get at least a rear mount if not an entire set of performance mounts. Only makes sense.

I ran my b16 without that tranny mount and shitty stock mounts for about 10 months and 10,000 miles. Nothing happened even under spirited driving but the difference with it installed is noticeable.

Are you worried about clearance issues with your header?

For the last time: the two front torque mounts aren't there to keep the engine steady. They're designed to soak up vibrations from tiny imbalances and your average changes in acceleration and direction. It's not a structural thing, it's a comfort thing, and even if you don't have them at all you probably won't notice. If you're worried about the engine moving around, don't. If you're worried about possibly 5% more vibration, get a torque damper and some inserts.

But no, it's not going to hurt anything to run it like that. Surely you've seen the milimeters-thick web of "connections" that hold the torque mounts to the unibody. I don't think any real human being could look me in the eyes and say they did jack ****
