having some issues with my 02 rsx-s 42000 miles on it... :-/
arright, I live in Maine and the weather here gets pretty cold.... its been 45- 55 degrees at night lately. Here is the problem Im having, day before yesterday I started my rsx and as soon as I turned the starter on, my car moved forward even though my clutch was pressed right in but the car was in gear. I thought that the clutch was gone cause it was feeling a bit light. I turned off my car and pressed on the clutch again to try to shift my car into neutral but the gear wouldnt shift what so ever. after that I tried pressing the clutch and releasing it few more times and then it finally did get to neutral. After this I started my car and kept pushing the clutch and releasing it 4 - 5 times ... and everything worked fine. my car went into gear without a hitch and when I was on the road my car was fine without any shifting difficulties what so ever. It was fine the whole day until the next day when I first started my car .. I had the same problem... ( so basically when i start my car after its been sitting for fewhours .. I m unable to SHIFT to any gear but if I press and release my clutch few times it works!)
If anyone has faced this problem please help me out... I know its not the clutch because its not slippping.... Im thinking it could be the master or slave cylinder but I m not sure
any help would be greatly appereciated.

It is what I would reccommend, especially if it has never been done before.

You have to get the car in the air, because the transmission drain plug is on the bottom side of the transmission. I will attempt to find a picture or diagram of it if you wish to to this yourself.

I have gone through about 20 pages of stuff in 2 forums at ClubRSX.com, and typed "RSX-S transmission fluid change" in google, but Im not coming up with anything yet.
Maybe you can have better luck.

real easy just jack up the left side and take the wheel off. You should be able to see the drain plug on the side of the tranny their
actually, your tranny fluid has nothing to do with your clutch system, if you have to pump your pedal to get your clutch to release you should bleed your clutch line, if there was air in your line and you get it out you should be fine, i drove my s all last winter and it saw many sub zero days and i never had an issue with it
