Default Mushy clutch pedal feel

I came outside to turn on the car, and for some reason the clutch now feels "mushy", almost like it has no pressure. It feels like it doesn't want to engage until the pedal is fully pressed to the floor.

What should I do to fix this?

EDIT: It's a 1997 RS

If is a hydraulic clutch it is your master cylinder I just replaced mine last week. Did you look for any fluid leaks. Mine leaked all over my carpet. But if it is a cable clutch I do not know what it is. Good luck

Why not start with a bleed, then if it does not come back move onto replacing the MC.

check ontop of your clutch pedal for an fluid leaking from your master cylinder, chec k your fluid i nthe reservoir aswell, if its low youll have to fill it and bleed it untill the resistance returns

I'd bleed the clutch first but look around the pedal for leaks like they are saying. I know mine would do that when the tempertaure dropped. Bleeding it helped every time.

Good luck!
