What are the rest of your mods and what is your budget? Are you tuning with anything and is this motor daily driven/what is it going to be built for?

i recommend skunk2 pro2, because it has a lot of top end power, but it has larger primary's then most other aftermarket cams making good mid range power.

is it tru that buddy club cams are better for rev...idel not as rough as the skunk2
and i'm interested in the buddy club spec 4 pro series
and the skunk2 stage 2 pros whick is better?

i'll be doing the valves and retainers the same as the cam brand name
and head gaster will be commetic thin!

I have a B16b and the first thing I did were cams and valvetrain. I did the M22x's because they are known for they're top end charge which is where the B16b excels. If I had to do it all over again, I would start with a Toda header, a 4.9 FD, short ram intake with velocity stack, engine management and have it tuned. Forget about your S2 IM, DC header and other crap. I'm speaking from first hand experience, the type r cams fit that motor extremely well and still offer allot of room in power gains. Don't get me wrong, I love my cams, but with the way the motor sits now it is over-cammed...although it does have a REALLY shitty tune done to it. Don't let the price of the Toda header scare you either, it's worth every penny. And the Pro2's are gonna be much too large for that motor. Leave your stock IM and TB alone.

any other suggestions......

i'm doing all motor getting my head ported with buddy club. spec4 cams and gears.
valves retainers are buddy club
intake mani and tb68mm are skunk2
and did an excedy clutch stage 3 with my stock pressure plate lightened as much as it can go......
also doing a 225 walbro fuel pump with
either cc injectors or h22 injectors still deciding...

and then dyno tunned rite away

i'll let you all know the specs once they are done...thanks everyone for your advice!

ya i agree with some of these theorys but im biased in that i have i bored stroked ls vtec and im running buddyclub4 head package in a D.P.R. gsr stage 4 head on a built block i shift at 8700 and i made 189 and 150 on a horrible mild *** bullshit tune the tuner says the cams flaten out at 6200 well they are the same specs as the skunk2 pro2 cams and both these cams in a fully built motor should be putting down over 200hp+ but i think wwith a good header and a better tune it is possible has amyone else used buddy4s

Running a b16 with BC 4 and Skunk 2 valvetrain. Good combination with lots of
power and no problems with everyday driving.
