Default I need help from you!

I currently drive 1995 Honda accord (no mods) and I have 2004 Honda CBR 600rr (mod to death) on sale to get a s2000. I really don't care about what year I am getting because I'm assuming it's a honda, it will last a long *** time. I did have EG hatchback with LS/VTEC and 2000 Honda civic SI (lots of mod), but after when my SI got stolen, I got out of honda game. I will not be modding the s2000 unless I get a suspension parts or a hardtop. I will be a police officer in a year or two and will like to behave myself.

Is it a lot different between sp1 and sp2?
What are the common problems with the sp1?
How much does it cost to buy a decent sp1 with decent mileage?
How you guys like the s2000 so far?
Did you have any trouble getting financed from the bank?

you'll get the mod bug with the s2000...it wont remain stock for long. The differences between model years has been covered extensively, please search. kbb.com will get you some pricing information and a search on autotrader.com will give you an idea of what people are selling them for. Financing is totally dependent on your credit history and rating.

Taken from my post on another website where the same question was asked:
The front and rear fascias
'04 has a 2.2 motor with the same HP and 14 more lbs. of tq.
'04 has a red line of 8300 (I believe) vs. 9000 in the '02
'04 has 2 cup holders and different radio door cover
'04 has a different colored spark plug cover
'04 has different head and tail lights
'04 has oval exhaust tips
'04 comes with 17' wheels
'02 has SO2 tires
'04 has a different reduction gear in the tranny in the first 4 gears
'04 has a different rear suspension tune- made to be 'softer'.
There are other changes I believe, but that is all I can think of right now

SP1.....ha ha, at least you still have your Moto on your mind.

Changes are listed above and throughout this forum. I had an AP1. If I were to get another, I'd opt for an AP2. I just like the extra torque. I could care less about a 9k redline.
