I need an OEM or identical to OEM front lip. It seems like the type-R front lips are very few and far?

THANK you both. This car is finally coming together. All I need now is another set of the red recaros.. while it was sitting at the dealership someone stole out the factory Recaros from my JDM DC5. Ugh.

 

Same site has Recaros.

 

but not windshields.. how do i get a jdm windshield? the usdm is NOT the same

JDM Windshield? Wow.
I'd think about that a little more.

 

Why not get an oem A-spec front lip? Will that not work with your application?

edit: is it a true JDM DC5R? If so, then ignore the above.

 

^If he had a DC5R, he probably wouldn't
be looking for an ITR lip.

 

he does have a real dc5r and look at some of his post. dude's got some bad *** cars!

 

The JDM windshield is completelly different than the USDM version. the spot where the wipers go is reversed, so the hump in the windshield itself is on the opposite side.

The only way I could use a regular RSX windshield on my JDM Type-R is if I wanted to convert the wipers to RSX also... In which case I would have lots of people telling me nice conversion, you did everything but the wipers :-X

In any case. I got the lip, I got the seats, Just need a windshield and good to go.

 

So I've tried several shops and I cant get a $(@*# windshield for this stupid car.

One new from the dealer in japan plus shipping is $1500 guess im going to have to just bite the bullet.

 

im confused if you have a JDM type-r wouldnt it alread have the type-r lip and the jdm front windsheild?
