Well, when you understand the you do not have to bump a thread after only 4 minutes, when you really are not supposed to bump a thread in a tech forum at all anyways, you will understand what he was talking about.

Bumping your own thread for the sake of interest should never be done at a smaller interval than 4 hours, and if the post isn't even question/sale related, it should never be bumped by the orignal poster. Think of it as proper posting etiquette.
