Are these any good? Or are they junk? Have any of you bought and used them?

Honestly, I didnt even click on the links, and here is why: buying vital engine parts from eBay its generaly a bad idea. If you can get it from a reputable company with valid address and phone number it should not be any different than auto-zone or pepboys. That said I would never put anything other than OEM honda on mine.

yeah what he said...
yeah what he said...
i got the first kit on there. The belt is a no name brand and i refuse to put it on my car. It did come with all other belts, water pump, tentioner tho. Its okay, except for the actual timing belt, i'd go to honda for that. You dont want ur engine to get messed up because you cheaped out....get the real stuff. Its expensive for a reason.

I do not agree. Why not get a part from an ebay user who has thousands of positive feedback replies and who sells parts made and packaged by the same "reputable company" to which you are referring? Obviously some things like motors are exceptions, but a timing belt/h20 pump?
Seriously, a pump in its original wrapping by made by XXXinc is still a pump made by XXXinc no matter where you buy it from!

the second link is a honda dealership so i see no problems there.
EDIT: noticed that that kit is only for 96+ D series, you dont have a swap do you?
and 120something for that kit isnt not bad at all. norm reeves is a reputable dealership from what ive heard.

I sooo have to disagree, I used to work for an international distributor who bought directly from the people who make the stuff for honda, now just because an ebay seller has alot of vouches doesn't make them good. for instance say you get a great deal and shipping is fast= good vouch...but in a year how will those parts feel? can't change your feedback that late...
only brad you should be buying for quality should follow as:
NSK, Koyo= almost all bearing honda uses
paraut, atsugi(sp?)= makes honda water pumps(except odyssey's aisin makes those)
mitsuboshi, bando= good quality outer belts(i can't remember if bando is original, don't think so)
seals= just goto honda and spend the difference lol
any other questions about who makes what holla at me and I will do my best..
I don't work for the dist. anymore but i used to have about 40 honda dealers that would buy from me cause I knew my **** and didnt sell crap...
btw now I work for honda

Yeah. But an brand name product is still a brand name product. If it's unused, I don't see why not buy from ebay.

So if I pay for OEM HONDA parts through EBAY I'm still getting what I pay for?
