Default Reving Up n Down

I have a Zc SOHC motor and i had jus got done puttin the intake manifold back on from powder coating. I connected all the hoses and tryed to start the car. I realized i had some hoses in the wrong places which caused Antifreeze to mix in the oil. Would that be the cause of the car reving up n down up n down ? Also i am going to change the oil hoping to save the motor. I was just wondering if there is anything else wrong as in Timing , Sensors , etc.

Thats what it sounds like to me. And, make sure you change your antifreez along with the oil.
