Clutch slipping?
I have a 1992 Acura Integra LS with a built B18A and a GSR tranny but I have a wierd problem...When I drive it hard or when I'm atthe strip my clutch feels like it's slipping when I shift from 2nd to 3rd and again at 3-4...it slips and then grabs hard like I'm spinning my tires but it happens at over 60 mph...so i don't think that is the problem...I have an Exedy stage 2 clutch and 9 lb flywheel...could it be my flywheel or clutch cable or even the trowout bearing making this happen or am I just wheel spinning??? I highly doubt it's wheelspin because like I said it happens from 60 mph+...my car was dynoed at 197whp and 152wtq...I don't think that's enough power to spin at 60 or is it??? Also if it makes a difference I am running a GSR tranny, too....LMK what you think...I'd hate to spend another $500 on a new clutch only to find out that's not the problem...
It grabs hard in 1st and 2nd but it slips after that...WTF?
