I have the same question...I think that besides DC, there arent any headers you can buy unless its custom. Hopefully someone can prove me wrong.

He is not Hosed

Have the manifold Collector modified at and exhaust shop to 2.5 then run the appropriate pipes....less the customer doesnt want to see a weld on the header/exhaust...in that case he shouldnt get a header/manifold in the first place...under the car is not the place for showmanship

If i welded a 2.5" collector onto the DC sports header right now that is only 2 1/4", it still wouldnt flow because of the runners, so it wouldnt make any sense to do that

Its not really that different from the 2.5" collector DC mods.

DC Sports does have a header with a 2.5" collector for the 93-96 H22. Part number HHC5029. I called on it today actually. The tech at DC Sports/AEM told me that it has the same primaries as the same header for the prelude with 2.25" collector.

Will this header, with the same size primaries as the 2.25" collector header, make much of a performance gain with 2.5" collector?

The basic DC header has a 2" collector.

The primaries on the DC 4-2-1 are 1-5/8". That works well for a built up D series but not a stock H22.

T S R Performance, why not custom on a stock engine? Also go with a 2-1/2" cat, exhaust and tuning and you'll see very nice gains.

I want to say that it's 60mm.

And custom headers work great on stock motors

Why buy a mass-produced header and feed the rich??

Buy custom and help out the guys who are making the worthwhile stuff for hondas!

Dave has the idea, custom headers work wonders on stock h22s.....my custom rmf combined with an electronic cutout is probably close to the biggest power gain you could get on an otherwise stock h22 for around $1000, and still be daily drivable....(no i don't want to hear your NOS ideas)

LOL! You are right but I think that 800 bucks is way too much money to spend on one single item! If I ever do get a header, I want it to be stainless steel. I like shiny stuff and stuff that will last long (ie. No rust). Does he have a header cheaper than 800? Thanks
