In the middle of my swap i accedentally forgot to unplug the VSS when i dropped the motor and it pulled the pins out of the plug and now i have no idea what order they go in.

There is a black wire, blue/yellow and black/yellow. With the clip part facing up what order do these wires go into the plug?

Already searched but most of the VSS wiring issues had to do with the cluster, which is not my problem...

The way i tried it first was, from left to right with the clip part facing upward : Black, blue/yellow, black/yellow and it still throws a cell and nothing on the speedo.

Any help would be appriciated because im stuf in safe mode till i get this figured out!

pick up a repair manual, in the back of the book. there you can find the wire diagram you're looking for.

 

there are 9 different combos just try them all

Hahaha, sadly, i thought of this as my only option.

I know there are the diagrams in the back of the helms and such but i dont want to waste the money just because of one plug

I was hoping somebody had the diagram already or knew which wires went where...

well by trial and error I figured out the wire location on the plug for anybody that runs into the same issue as me.

with the clip to the top it goes from left to right : black, black/yellow, blue yellow.
